International aromatherapy conferences

Every two years pharmacists and PTAs (pharmaceutical assistants) from all over Europe and Japan attend the Internationale Aromatherapie Fachkongress (international aromatherapy conference) hosted by the Akademie der Düfte e.V. (the academy of fragrance; www.duft-akademie.de), where many interesting facets of aromatherapy are discussed, with a special focus on day-to-day pharmacy work. The event sees an impressive array of professors and pharmacists giving specialist lectures, discussing studies and presenting marketing strategies, and thus serves to keep the audience up to date with the very latest scientific findings in the field.
