Bernd Griasch, an aromatherapist and creator of the aromatherapy database, has dedicated his life to researching essential oils and their uses. The motivation behind his aromatherapy reference work was to create a tool that would enable interested pharmacy staff to access information about the entire field of aromatherapy in a way that was quick, easy and professional.

Bernd Griasch’s aromatherapy database has been the definitive work on aromatherapy for 10 years now. Over 1600 pharmacies use the database to great success, actively adding their own experiences and formulations to it over the years.

Thanks to the incredible commitment shown by a large number of pharmacies, the TAOMED® aromatherapy concept has become really well established in the pharmacy sector. This is one of the reasons why TAOMED® has been honoured, after a country-wide survey conducted by the Federal Association of German Pharmacists, as “Aromatherapy of the Year” for the ninth year running.
